SweepShot is engineered with a strict 100% on-device architecture. Unlike generic photo cleaners, all image processing, duplicate matching hashes (dHash), and OCR text recognition are executed strictly inside your device memory.

We do not operate remote server databases. Your screenshots and private documents never leave your iPhone and are never transmitted to us or any third parties.

Absolutely not. SweepShot is designed to respect your control. The app will analyze, categorize, and present screenshots that you might want to delete (such as identical duplicates, blurry screenshots, or expired verification codes) in a safe swipe interface.

No images are ever hidden or deleted until you manually select them, tap the deletion action, and approve the final iOS native photo deletion confirmation pop-up.

During your first scan, SweepShot processes your entire screenshot library to calculate unique mathematical fingerprint hashes and perform optical character recognition (OCR) on-device. If you have thousands of screenshots, this initial deep analysis can take a few minutes as it relies entirely on your device's local CPU/GPU hardware.

However, this is a one-time process. Subsequent scans are extremely fast because the app only scans newly captured items, checking them against previously compiled indices instantly.

All premium memberships in SweepShot are processed through Apple App Store's official subscription billing system. You remain in complete control and can cancel or manage your subscriptions at any time:

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
2. Tap your Apple ID / profile banner at the top.
3. Tap Subscriptions.
4. Find SweepShot in the list to cancel or adjust billing intervals.
