We believe your personal photos are private. Therefore, we deliberately designed our technical pipeline to work on-device. This guarantees that:

• No Server Database: We do not operate remote user databases or cloud servers to process or save your media files.
• Offline-Ready: The App’s core screenshot analysis functions work completely without active internet connections.
• Safe Upgrades: Future app updates will continue to adhere to this strictly localized, privacy-by-design baseline.

To deliver its screenshot organizing features, the App accesses or processes only the specific data segments below:

• Photo Library Metadata & Images: In order to show lists of screenshots, identify similar duplicates, and analyze temporary captures (e.g. verification codes, receipts, maps), we request system permissions to access your Photos. Specifically, we scan items identified by Apple's system as `photoScreenshot` assets. These items are analyzed dynamically in active device memory. We never modify, hide, or delete any image without your explicit manual review and final confirmation.
• Subscription & Billing Records: When you purchase SweepShot Premium (Weekly or Yearly subscriptions), transactions are directly handled by Apple's secure App Store billing systems using StoreKit. SweepShot does not collect, receive, or store credit card details, payment routing numbers, or physical billing addresses. We only receive a secure transaction receipt identifier from Apple to verify your subscription access.
• Technical Diagnostics & Anonymized Logs: We may collect generic, non-personally identifiable diagnostic information. This includes details such as app crash logs, device hardware model, operating system version, and general feature interaction frequencies. This analytical data is used strictly in aggregated form to fix bugs and improve stability.

Any technical identifiers or interaction statistics processed by us are applied strictly to:

1. Deliver the Core App Features: Supporting user-triggered scanning, sorting, and manual screen cleanup operations on your local device storage.
2. Verify Purchase Entitlements: Ensuring your weekly or yearly premium subscriptions are active and unlocked.
3. Diagnose App Health: Troubleshooting slow scans, resolving memory limits, and fixing bugs to prevent app crashes.
4. Refine local categorization engines: Adjusting similarity rules (dHash distance thresholds) based on overall performance feedback.

When you start SweepShot for the first time, you may encounter system dialogs asking for specific authorizations. Here is what they mean and how you remain in absolute control:

• Photos (Read/Write Access): Essential for screenshot detection. If you opt-in to 'Limited Access', the App will only be able to scan and display the specific screenshots you pick, which will drastically limit the effectiveness of our smart categories and duplicate sweeps. If you grant Full Access, all screenshot detection is completed 100% on your device, with absolute security.
• App Tracking Transparency (ATT): We respect Apple's ATT framework. If you authorize tracking, we may share anonymized device metrics with advertising networks or attribution tools to personalize communications and track campaign sources. If you deny tracking, we do not monitor your activity across other apps or websites, and only contextual, non-personalized advertising (if any) will be shown.

Our commitment to security is simple: **we cannot lose or leak what we do not have.**

• Screenshots: We do not store your images, screenshots, or recognized OCR text logs on any server. The data is parsed in memory while the app runs and is released immediately when closed. When you select screenshots for deletion in the app, the actual file deletion call is sent directly to your iOS system, which moves them safely to Apple's native "Recently Deleted" album.
• Diagnostic Analytics: Any anonymized diagnostics are stored securely using industry-standard cloud protection policies and are automatically deleted after 90 days.

Due to our strict decentralized data practice, SweepShot inherently respects global user privacy rights by design:

• GDPR Compliance (European Economic Area): We act as the Data Processor of local transactions and utilize zero Central Controller pipelines for user files. You hold the absolute right to restrict diagnostics processing or delete anonymized log identifiers.
• CCPA/CPRA Compliance (California): We do not sell, rent, or lease your private screenshot data or personal information under any circumstances.
• COPPA Compliance (Children's Privacy Protection): SweepShot is designed for general productivity. We do not intentionally advertise to or collect personal information from individuals under 13 years of age (or 16 years of age in specific legal jurisdictions).
